Admitted to UT Dallas MSF, applied to 8 schools, received offers and scholarships from 7!

Hi Dustin~

I wanted to let you know that I was a student in your Terminator S24 class, and I’m preparing to attend UT Dallas for MSF this year! The school also gave me a scholarship that allows me to pay tuition at the in-state rate. This year, I applied to about 8 schools. Although I didn’t get into UT Austin, which was my top choice, it was the only school I didn’t get into. I received offers from all the others, almost all with scholarships.

Even though GMAT wasn’t required by many schools, I think my final score of 635 still gave me a bit of an edge, haha.

I want to share a little story with you. Before taking your class, I took the test twice on my own and never achieved a good score. The day after my last attempt, I went to Japan, feeling quite heavy-hearted and constantly questioning whether I should continue on this path. I wondered if I’d just had bad luck these past few years, and nothing I did seemed to succeed. So, I went to Senso-ji Temple, thinking I’d draw a fortune slip to see if it could give me some guidance. (At the time, I casually looked online and found that people said Senso-ji was particularly effective?)

Anyway, I drew a ‘Great Blessing,’ which was very surprising. The fortune poem said I didn’t need to worry and that I would meet a benefactor to help me.

After returning home, I decided to enroll in your course. I truly gained a lot, and you enlightened me on many things. In the end, I did achieve a pretty good score. Although it didn’t align with my original timeline for studying abroad, getting a satisfactory score gradually helped me regain some confidence. In the year before going abroad, I also found a good job and lived a fulfilling life. And finally, this year, I can prepare to go abroad and fulfill my dream.

Seeing you constantly learning new methods to help everyone overcome this hurdle also reminds me to keep working hard. You must be one of the benefactors I met. Thank you so much for helping me take a step towards realizing my dream! I’ll continue to follow what new teaching methods you come up with.

Thanks to AI tools, PP mock test score improved from 595 to 685 in one month!

Dustin, I want to share some good news with you! I scored 655 on the new format this time. Although there’s still some distance to 705+, I might consider a short sprint within a month to see if I can improve further.

I must say, the AI tools you developed helped me a lot. The ones I use most frequently are Boldface practice, RC Trainer, and the recently used score analysis tool. They all helped me analyze blind spots and strengthen weaker subjects. I’m incredibly grateful for these free tools!

I’m someone who has been taking the GMAT since the old format, and I’m still persisting after ten attempts. Many friends around me told me to switch to the GRE, but I always felt like I was just a little bit off each time, and I could do better, so I kept pushing. Plus, the thought that if I can’t even handle the GMAT, how will I survive studying abroad, kept me going and persisting, haha.

This shouldn’t be my final score. I hope to share more good news with you later. But seeing the clear improvement in recent PP mock tests (595->685) and the actual test (595->655), I felt compelled to share the practical value of the tools and my deep gratitude!

With only lectures and generously shared tips, a student finally scored 645 on their fifth attempt!

Hello, Teacher! I apologize for the long delay in replying. I logged out of Instagram at the end of April, so I didn’t see your message.

I just finished my fifth attempt, and the score is finally out (645, with an even distribution across the three sections). Thank you for your reply, Teacher. Although I didn’t take the Terminator course, I’m very grateful for the lectures you held and the tips you generously shared. I benefited greatly!

DI soared to the 100th percentile, Verbal hit two RC passages, thanks to the focused study plan!

Hi Dustin, my score from yesterday’s test didn’t reach 650, but it was higher than last time! I’ve provided the score report data in the cloud drive to expand your analysis sample size. I felt Verbal went smoothly, but the downfall at the end was really a pity. I think I didn’t adjust my state well after the Quant section and was too nervous, so I made too many mistakes in the initial low-score section. Although I didn’t make many mistakes later, it was too late to recover. However, Dustin’s Verbal ‘ji jing’ (exam predictions/tips) were incredibly accurate, hitting two RC passages (detection and corporate management decisions)! The third RC passage was also similar to topics I practiced in reading training (the formation order of black holes and galaxies), so I thought I had it in the bag QQ. Finally, the improvement in DI was really significant. I struggled with MSR and even ran out of time, but it still hit the 100th percentile. It’s a good thing DI held up, otherwise, the total score would have been really bad XD. Anyway, I don’t have time for a third attempt. I’m very grateful for Dustin’s carefully arranged study plan, which kept me from being flustered during preparation~

Score improved from 625 (81st) to 655 (91st), core correction logic is key!

Student: Hi Dustin, I took the test yesterday and scored 655. I’d like to discuss with Dustin whether to retake it! I’ve already scheduled a second consultation with Emma for next Monday evening.

Student: I must confess, I got quite busy later and didn’t follow your advice to memorize vocabulary. The last two weeks were mainly spent on solving problems and reviewing, making sure the correction logic and reading review methods were the same as taught in class.

Student: Thank you, Dustin!

Dustin: Wow, 655! From the last 625 (81st) to 655 (91st)

Dustin: Huge progress!!!

High GMAT score helps secure admission to Yale and Duke MBA!

Good news for Dustin! I was admitted to Yale and Duke MBA in R2, and I’ve decided to go to Yale! I’m incredibly grateful for your help, Teacher, which allowed me to achieve a high GMAT score!

Thank you so much, Dustin! I also hope that all the inconveniences caused by the earthquake in Thailand for you, Teacher, will return to normal soon~

Amazing Leap! From PR32 all the way to PR87, surpassing 50% of test-takers!

Student: My score report just came out. Q91 V48 DI84, total score 645. I’ll trouble Dustin again.

Dustin: 515 (first attempt) -> 555 (mock test before consultation) -> 625 (mock test before exam) -> 645 (this time)

Dustin: Congratulations on getting an even better score than your mock tests this time! Compared to your first attempt, 515 was equivalent to PR32, and now 645 is equivalent to PR87 (old format 700). You’ve surpassed 50% of test-takers in one go. Congratulations!

Starting from scratch! GMAT from 460 to admission to INSEAD & IESE dual-degree MBA!

Hi Dustin, I’m a student from the S22 & S25 Terminator class.

MBA admissions have been rolling out recently, and I successfully got into both INSEAD & IESE MBA!!

Three years ago, I diligently prepared for three months and only scored 460 on my first attempt. Then, I stumbled along the GMAT path for two years until I joined the Terminator class. After starting from scratch and deeply understanding the logic behind CR & RC in the GMAT, it not only helped with the exam but also influenced my analysis and reasoning at work (and then I’d realize how strange my colleagues’ reasoning logic sometimes was?! Generalizing too broadly XD).

I’m also very grateful for the Terminator IG posts. They often kept me going even when things weren’t smooth during the exam or application process. I’d casually browse these articles (or motivational posts) and then could continue moving forward.

All in all, I’m very thankful for Dustin’s Terminator specialized class, and for not giving up on my terrible GMAT, haha.

Remarkable Progress! First attempt PR under 60, second attempt Quant soared to 94th, total score reached PR75!

Hi Dustin,

I just left the test center, and the results are a bit surprising:
Q94th
V70th
DI34th
Overall 75th (605)

My first attempt was 515.. not a single section’s PR was over 60!

The first section, Quant, was actually super difficult, harder than any ‘ji jing’ (exam predictions/tips). I thought I bombed it and guessed on some, but it turned out to be 94th percentile.

The second section, DI, started with 5 consecutive DS questions. Usually, my DI and Quant scores aren’t too far apart, but this time DI was only 34th percentile, a bit of a disaster…

For the third section, Verbal, I followed the pacing from our last consultation and luckily hit one difficult RC ‘ji jing’ (exam prediction/tip). I was fortunate to get 70th percentile (my first attempt was only 15th). This section has always been my biggest fear! Dustin’s strategies and tools are very comprehensive, and I felt a significant improvement.

Since DI was a disaster, I’ll discuss it with my consultant. I’m already anticipating needing a third attempt because my target is 655+. I’ll fill out the form and schedule our third consultation once I receive my official score in a couple of days!

Incredible Progress! CR rocketed from PR6, helping achieve 645 on the new GMAT!

Hi Dustin~ I just finished the new GMAT and scored 645 (I think I saw it right, haha). I’ll report back once the official score report is out! Converted to the old format, I’ve reached my target score! Although I still guessed on one or two Verbal questions QQ, I probably won’t take it again~ Many thanks for Dustin’s help. The CR section, if I’m not mistaken, improved quite a lot (my old format CR was only PR6 before…)

Total score surged by 90 points! From 640 to a breakthrough 730 (Q50 V37)!

Student’s Progress:
Last time 640 (Q49 V29) -> This time 730 (Q50 V37 IR8)

Student: Hi Dustin, although you advised me to take the test again at the end of August after our last consultation, I still wanted to try for the 1st round, so I took it a few days ago. I’m sharing my unofficial score of 730 (Q50 V37 IR8) with you. Thank you so much for the resources you provided during this time. I’ll probably start preparing for TOEFL and applications now. Truly, many thanks!

Well-deserved progress! From a frustrating 530 to admission to Georgia Tech MBA with a full scholarship!

Student: Hi Dustin, I was a student in the Terminator class before. Before joining, my first attempt on the old format was around 530, which was incredibly frustrating. After taking the course, I took the new format test and scored 635 on my third attempt.

But I was silly and thought the new format had no attempt limit, so I kept taking it like a mock test, once every shortest required interval. It wasn’t until my fifth attempt that I realized there’s a limit of five attempts per year, and my score didn’t go any higher~~ *cry*

After that, I used my 635 score to apply for the Georgia Tech MBA and received a full scholarship. I’m preparing to go this year.

Thank you very much for the logical analysis and reading methods taught in the Terminator course. They are not only helpful for the exam but also for thinking about everything in life. Thank you~

Dustin: Hi, thank you for remembering Dustin~

Seeing your message is truly touching, because not only did you finish the exam, but you also received an admission offer, and more importantly, this offer is ‘shining brightly’ with a full scholarship!

This will significantly reduce your financial pressure for the next few years. In fact, with the current appreciation of the New Taiwan Dollar, it’s like getting a further discount on living expenses! And this timing for studying abroad is excellent, as the economic outlook for the next year or two is uncertain. The economy is currently at a high point and is expected to decline next year. By the time you finish your studies, the economy should have rebounded from the bottom, which will be a great time for job hunting!

530->635 is completely well-deserved. I’m very happy to have walked this path with you. I’m also glad you felt that the methods taught in class were not just for the exam but also helped you with handling matters in your daily life and work. Although AI has advanced rapidly in recent years, I believe that people with reading and logical abilities will be able to collaborate with future AI, and these are the talents future businesses will need most.

(I almost laughed when you mentioned misunderstanding the number of attempts~ but anyway, the current outcome is excellent, just let the past be bygones!)

Finally, I wish you all the best in the future!

Thanks to the Terminator program for saving time and worry, successfully securing an MBA Offer from Rotterdam School of Management (RSM)!

Student: Hi Dustin, I’m a Terminator student.

I’m very happy to share my application joy with Dustin: I received an MBA offer from Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) in the Netherlands! (Although it’s just a little… it comes with a 3000 Euro scholarship)

I saw Dustin’s message feedback to me in the group! I still want to say thank you again~

Thank you, Terminator Dustin & KH & Emma, for providing me with so many new learning methods and resources~ Amidst my countless panicked consultation messages, you helped me organize the context, find the root causes, use AI to assist learning, and adjust my study plan. Only then could I feel my English reading and vocabulary skills improve in a short time!

Actually, I should have come to Terminator right after my first attempt. It saves time and worry!

Those who stand at the peak are always lonely. I also hope Dustin will not be deterred by malicious slander and continue to help aspiring students achieve their study abroad dreams. Wishing you all the best!

Dustin: Hi [Student Name]! I’m so happy that we’ve finally reached a beautiful endpoint on this journey! RSM has many alumni from Taiwan (and quite a few have already settled and found jobs in Europe), so I believe you’ll adapt very well there. Don’t underestimate the 3000, I see it as the school’s affirmation of you!

While typing the above, I also recalled the qualities you demonstrated during your test preparation:

You had a very keen awareness of your own situation and were eager to actively follow up and improve. Although there were many messages, once we organized them, we could quickly address the issues. As I said last time, I’m very happy to have walked this path with you.

Next, I wish you all the best there! If you pass through Bangkok on your way to or from Europe (e.g., with EVA Air), let me know in advance, and I’ll treat you to a big meal!

Following the study plan, GMAT score improved from 515 (PR36) to 595 (PR69) in two months, with Verbal making a huge leap from PR14 to PR78!

After implementing reading training and data analysis-driven study planning, the student’s GMAT score significantly improved, from 515 to 595! What’s more valuable is that the improvement was primarily driven by Verbal. Let’s keep up the good work.

Admitted to UT Dallas with GMAT score, also received scholarship and in-state tuition benefits!

Student: Hi Dustin, I’m [Student Name] from S28. Happy Birthday, Dustin~!

I’ve received admissions for Supply Chain Management from UT Dallas and the University of Maryland~ I’m still waiting for notifications from UPenn and Arizona State University (but I’ve probably already decided to go to UTD because I applied for a scholarship and in-state tuition, which is based on GMAT scores~).

I want to thank Dustin again for your teaching, advice, and assistance! At the time, I was nervous and anxious about the test, and I didn’t have much direction. But by following Dustin’s pace and thinking about your advice, my mood gradually stabilized~ You really worked hard, Dustin! Now that it’s over, I suddenly feel a bit sad. If I want to take it again in the future, I’ll definitely find Dustin! XDD

Dustin: Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow!!!! A few days ago, I was wondering if last year’s students had received their admission results, and today, as soon as I opened the website, I received your good news!

Getting a good GMAT score is really important, because even though many schools now make GMAT/GRE optional, the burden of tuition and future living expenses is truly significant. Scholarships are very important, and these are really earned through the GMAT.

Don’t feel sad that it’s over XD. Scores are just tools; the challenges of studying and job hunting are just beginning, one after another. Alumni who successfully studied and worked abroad all say:

Looking back now, taking the GMAT was truly the least challenging and most simply wonderful period. Every challenge after that is bigger than the GMAT, haha.

I wish you all the best! I return to Taiwan every Chinese New Year. If you also have a chance to return to Taiwan for Chinese New Year in the future, or come back to Asia for a vacation in Thailand, remember to let me know~

With AI problem-solving and analysis tools, studying is no longer mindless, and test prep is no longer powerless!

Student: Hi Dustin! Since today is the last day of the program~ I wanted to especially thank you. In these past six months of preparing for the GMAT, there were really several times I wanted to give up… but deep down, I felt unwilling to let my efforts and time go to waste! These two months in the Terminator program truly reshaped my understanding and mindset towards this exam. I could see my progress from the mock tests, and it no longer felt like I was just spinning my wheels! I’m also very grateful for the score report analysis and AI problem-solving tools you developed, which prevent me from mindlessly following online explanations and feeling powerless during test prep. If I achieve a successful score later, I’ll report back to Emma! Thank you for your help.

Dustin: Thank you. Although our journey isn’t over yet, I’m very happy to have walked this path with you. The AI problem-solving tools can continue to be used, and if you have any questions about the tools, feel free to report them anytime! Also, don’t forget, we still have two public live webinars every month, where I’ll continue to share new test prep methods and problem-solving approaches until you achieve a high GMAT score! I hope to hear your good news very soon!

“AI’s interaction helps me focus better!” Learning a more valuable diligent attitude from the teacher

Student: Hi Dustin, my Terminator website access should expire today, which also happens to be my interview day. I wanted to first thank Dustin again for your help over the past few months and for providing valuable test prep advice. Perhaps I may not be a very high-scoring student, but what I learned more from Dustin is a diligent attitude towards everything, and continuously refining your AI test prep tools to help students! In fact, for someone like me who struggles to focus, AI’s interaction made my study process more efficient and allowed me to concentrate better! Thank you once again, Dustin! I’ll share with you later if I successfully get admitted. Wishing you all the best!

Dustin: Thank you! I wish you success with your interview results! Having been attacked by anonymous letters yesterday, logging in now and seeing your encouragement truly warms my heart. I also saw in your preparation process a rare, persistent effort, and I’m happy to have accompanied you on this journey.
